This is a handy-dandy formula for calculating dream-time up to two dream levels down from proper time, As Seen On TV Inception, along with a table of some general values.
THE GENERAL FORMULA FOR GOING DOWN ONE DREAM LEVEL:
rx, where x is the quantity of time measurement and r is the dream-time in a ratio of the quantity in proper time to dream time.
TWO LEVELS:
(r^2)x with the same qualifications.
SO THAT'S THE GENERAL FORMULAS.
Or, in handy table form:

According to the movie, using what is presumably standard Somnacin gives you a ratio, in minutes (and any quantity! You'll see!), of 5:60 (five minutes in proper time = one hour in dream = 60 minutes in dream). Therefore, one minute in proper time equals twelve minutes in dream time (5:60 simplifies to 1:12).
Now I'm going to give you another handy table with some specific values! Yay!

But wait!! Sixty minutes is an hour! TO THE TABLE GENERATOR AGAIN!

Don't worry, though! We're coming up on the last table now!

You'll notice, then, that the ratio is always 1:12:144? Which means you can multiply any quantity of time by 12 (or 12 squared) and get the dream time! YAY!! Of course, if you have Yusuf fiddle with the formula to give you a different ratio, then all you have to do is plug in the ratio of one minute:dream-time minutes and you have your new r! YAY!!
And that's it! The handy-dandy formula in action. We hope you have enjoyed this edition of Dear God What Is My Life, and take pity on the poor thing who felt the need to make it!
P.S. Also, feel free to poke me if you spot an error in calculations, as I am woefully only human and prone to inaccuracy.
